Rain, Rain

DAY.

I want to curl up in the biggest
BLANKET
with a cup of
hot cocoa
and my
favorite
book.

mom

Everything is so
wet

cold.

scream

Instead I
climb

raincoat.

When we've finished,
mr. greene
wipes his whiskers and says he could use my

"The entire bathroom has been overrun by weeples."

everywhere.

We try asking the weeples to leave.
But they won't.
Mr. Kravitz asks weeples to leave.

Rain
outside.

hate
the rain.
Weeples under the umbrella watching the rain.
We try putting them in
jars.

But they always find a way
out.

We mail them to

Deliver
weeples.

Just then,
miss sharma,
comes in with a tray of
tea.

"Would anyone like some tea?"
she asks.
woopsie doodle!"

She trips on a
weeple.
The weeples start
giggling.
The weeples giggling.
Then
chuckling.
The weeples chuckling.
Then
guffawing.
The weeples guffawing.
Soon, they are laughing so hard that they begin to
poof!
"Everyone!"
I say,
"make the weeples
laugh!"
The kid screams as weeples are all over him.
mr. kravitz
does a
silly walk.

breaks out his
standup
Comedy
Routine.

I balance a
spoon
on my nose.
A spoon.The kid smiles.
miss sharma
juggles the tea set, saying,
"Whoopsie doodle!"
The teacup trips.The teacup trips.Miss. Sharma
One by one, the weeples
poof.
Soon, my imaginary house is clean again.

We celebrate a job well done with more
soft cheese
and
hot cocoa.

When everyone's
asleep

With a background as a former educator for middle and high school, Josh found a love for engaging the imagination of all ages, and now shares his love for storytelling with children across the digital world.

In addition to his writing, Josh is also an accomplished actor, known for his roles on ABC's Not Dead Yet and Amazon's Upload.
